What is Walk & Talk Therapy?

Experience the benefits of therapy while enjoying the great outdoors. I offer walk and talk therapy to individuals who prefer sessions that take place outside in nature. Instead of meeting online, we will meet outdoors to walk and talk. Walking allows you to move and connect with nature while processing your thoughts and emotions. This approach is a a great blend of getting some exercise while receiving the benefits of therapy, and can have positive effects on your mental health and overall well-being. You determine the length of the walk based on your own activity level; sessions can also include finding a comfortable place to sit outdoors. We will determine beforehand which of your session are best suited for this approach and if this is the best way for you to reach your goals as well as considerations for maintaining your privacy.

Walk & Talk therapy is a great option for those who are busy and want to get more exercise and time in the outdoors; for people who feel better when they are moving when talking; for individuals who enjoy being in nature; or for those who struggle with conversing during a traditional therapy session.
